Can Anyone be a moderator?
Anyone who is 18 or older can be a moderator, but anyone one younger then 18 has no chance, their application will be rejected, no matter what.
What do Mods Do?
Mods watch over World Chat, Forums, and Players walls for any sign of rules being broken. They also answer any questions that players ask. If there is anything you want to know about the game, they are the perfect people to turn to.
They also, punish the rule breakers, by Silencing them. What is silencing? When a player breaks a rule, a mod can silence them, causing the player to lose the privilege to use Private Chat, Post on walls, Change Status, Post in Club Chat, and World Chat.
This effect will only last for 24 hours. And, you can get silenced up to three times before you will permaently become silenced from the game. If you get permanently silenced, you still could have a chance to regain your privileges by sending an email to support, asking permission to be unsilenced.

Why is their Usernames Green?
If you look at the picture at the top, to the right, you will notice the mods have a green username, while average players have blue, this is the same for when mods post in world chat. While average players have white usernames, the mod's are green.
They are green just so player can pick them out easier.

When will they email back?
There is no telling when the developers will email you back, that will all depend on if they are looking for mods right now, or not. Be patient, don't send in your application more then one time, and if your application is rejected be respectful, and wait for a few months before re-applying.
